Then Jesus put a little child among them.
Taking the child in His arms, He said to them,
"Anyone who welcomes a little child like this
on my behalf welcomes me
and anyone who welcomes me
welcomes my Father who sent me."
Mark 9:36-37 (NLT)
The goal of the Youth Mentoring Program is to provide children and youth of
single parent families an adult mentor who will help build Christian values
into the child's spiritual, emotional and social life as well as model and teach
life-skill building as the child's friend and advocate.
The Youth Mentoring Program is open to children and youth age 6
through High School. The program starts in September 2004 and is
limited to the first 10 families to sign-up. Orientation and Training
is provided for all mentors and families over the summer months.
